Dear Sir/Madam
In todays paper you had a write up about the recent CANSEC trading show at Landsdown Park and it came across as a wonderful thing. You totally disregarded the all day protest outside the gates which included a peace garden representatives from major churches and many other groups. In the p.m. at Soutminster United church ( the church was packed) there were speeches, songs and a very disturbing slide show showing the weapons Canada exports and how they get used. This all ended with a march back to the park and a candlelight vigil. Let me give you the words sung by the Raging Grannies which you could have heard that day on radio:
The profiteers are coming here and they have come to buy
The gadgets that are on display that burn, explode and fry
And all laid out so they can see which ones they'd like to try
at the CANSEC TRADING SHOW.

City Hall provides the venue
War machinery's the menu

see the CANSEC TRADING SHOW
A business is a business and this one will make the dough
And that is all that matters to the ones who make it go
Dont care who buy the killing machines, dont care who run the show
